Adventure Seekers

Objectives:

1. To promote the various adventurous places that we have in Malaysia
2. To provide useful information for the tourist.

Description: 

Apart from having a multiculturalism and skycrapers tower, Malaysia is best know by its geographic structure as it has a lot of nice places. One of them is the natural wonders such as forest, mount, rivers and the sea. Some of the activity that can be done at this places are the adventurous activites for intance jungle tracking, hicking scuba diving, water rafting and lots more. Basically Malaysia has a lot of adventurous places for people who loves being extreme. In this project, we are going to promote the various adventurous places in Malaysia such as Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, Gunung Mulu National Park in Sarawak, Taman Negara National Park in Pahang and lots more.

Demographic Targets:

1. Tourist age range from 18-50
2. Adventurous seekers/ extreme lovers
3. Backpackers

Breaking down into sub-topics, and delegation of duties:

As this is a group assignment, we have discussed and agreed to delegate the task into 4 components as our group consists of 4 members.  The 4 major components will be:

Home Page.

Members responsible for: Ahmad Amirul Bin Mohmad Tahir.

Home page is a basic structure of a websites. It’s the page where the main URL will be linked to. This page usually has some sort of table of contents on it and often describes the purpose of the site. There will be a welcoming speech and a very brief walkabout on the main adventures that we have here in Malaysia. There will be information bars, or a header which will lead to other section of the sites such as, About Us, Contact Us, Destinations, Accommodations, Safety and Gear etc… The options on the bar will be further break down into few options where site’s visitors have the conveniences of choosing the type of adventure that they are interested in.

Destinations/ Adventures offered.

Members responsible for: Maisarah Bt Salleh.

There are variety of adventures being offer in Malaysia, which is known by their vast forest, high mountains and oceans that serve a majestic views and experiences to their visitors. Under the Destinations tab, we will break down the option into 3 categories which is climbing the Mount Kinabalu in Sabah, exploring the beautiful flora and fauna on one of the oldest jungle in south pacific region, the Batang Ai National Park in Sarawak or witness the beautiful stalactite and stalagmite which have been created thru a long process approximately 500 million years ago. All of this destination will be explained in details such as the history, the adventure they could offer and so much more.

Accommodations.

For every destination, we will include the accommodations that are suitable for all range of visitors for their conveniences. We would put up a place that’s suitable for people who are low on budgets, or for those who want comfort and luxuries abilities. Other than that, we will also include public transportations conveniences around their accommodations, restaurant and food places and also attractions that are reachable around their preferred accommodation. These will help potential tourists to choose what’s best for their adventurous trip to Malaysia.

Safety Gears.

One of the core elements in going on an adventure is the safety and precautions of the adventurer. In this sub topic, we will basically provide information on safety tips, the appropriate gear, medical and health facility and precaution steps during the trip. This information is very important to the tourist as according to history there is fatality occurred during an adventure trips. Last thing we want is a fun adventure full of excitement and beautiful memories ends in a despair and fatality. The safety precautions will be break down into different categories.
